Mental Health Assessment

A mental health assessment is a comprehensive service designed to understand how you are feeling, the difficulties you are experiencing, and your individual needs, and to identify the most appropriate way forward. The service includes vaimse tervise õe ja arsti vastuvõttu.

“Mental Health Assessment” helps you gain a clearer understanding of how you are feeling and what the next steps might be.

During the assessment:
✔ You will have a consultation with a mental health nurse.
✔ Your symptoms and previous experiences are assessed.
✔ This is followed by a consultation with a doctor.
✔ A personalised plan for the next steps is developed.

A step-by-step approach allows us to provide more comprehensive and personalised support.

How does the service work?

1. Consultation with a mental health nurse (50 minutes)

During the first appointment, we gather comprehensive background information and assess your current situation.

  • You will talk about how you have been feeling and the main difficulties you are experiencing.
  • Your symptoms and their impact on your daily life are assessed.
  • Your previous experiences, health history, and the need for any further assessments are discussed.
  • Questionnaires may be completed if needed.

2. Doctor’s consultation (30 minutes)

The second stage is a consultation with a doctor.

  • The information gathered is reviewed and analysed.
  • Your mental health is assessed as a whole.
  • Possible underlying causes and supportive approaches are discussed.
  • A personalised plan for the next steps is developed.
  • If needed, further assessments or appropriate support services may be recommended.

3. Next Steps and Support

The assessment provides a clearer understanding of your situation and helps identify possible next steps.

The further treatment plan may include the following (as separate services):
