Dr. Margus Lõokene works as a psychiatrist at the Toompark Mental Health Center. He has more than 15 years of clinical experience in the Psychiatry Clinic of North Estonia Medical Center and has done research on the brain stimulation-based methods in the treatment of mood disorders. His narrower professional interests and knowledge lie in the field of mood and anxiety disorders. Margus has great respect for using a personalized approach in dealing with mental health issues.
Margus belongs to several international professional organizations, is a board member and secretary of NACT (Nordic Association for Convulsive Therapy). He has written several scientific articles and the book „Anxiety and Mood Disorders: How to Spot and What to Do about them”.
