About me
I welcome young people (aged 15 and over) and adults who are looking for support and solutions to concerns related to anxiety, mood difficulties, or attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). I also have experience supporting young people with questions related to sexual orientation. I support people through challenging periods in their lives by introducing different self-help techniques and helping them find solutions that are suited to their individual needs. I am open-minded, respectful, and non-judgmental. Everyone is welcome here.
I believe it is important to see each person as a whole and to work together towards clear, individual solutions. In my view, mental health is not only about our thoughts and feelings — it is closely connected to our physical health, the way we live, our relationships, and how much a person has had to carry on their own.
I believe that we can do a lot ourselves to support our own well-being, but we don’t always have to manage everything on our own. Sometimes, it helps to have someone who can calmly help make sense of things and find solutions that genuinely fit the person’s life and circumstances.
I believe in creating a safe and non-judgmental space. During our sessions, you can speak openly and honestly, without fear of judgment. I offer support in navigating difficult and painful experiences, as well as when facing decisions that are not easy to make
I help people better understand what may be affecting how they feel and put possible solutions into clear and understandable terms. I don’t believe that everyone is the same, or that there is one ready-made answer that works for everyone. I approach each person individually, taking into account their unique situation, needs, and strengths.
I have experience in both emergency medicine and primary healthcare. This has given me a broad perspective on people’s well-being, mental health, and support needs in different life situations.
